I am Karine

I have always been a food lover. Passionate about gastronomy, I am interested in anything that can help us stay healthy, whether directly or indirectly. And the two are not incompatible!
In my first career, I obtained a science degree and a business school diploma in Strasbourg (four years of higher education). I then developed solid skills over the course of a twenty-year professional career in the field of compliance risk within international banks. Until I burned out. It was the perfect opportunity for a healthy transformation and the start of a new life.

Today, I am certified in nutrition and dietetics, and I offer to put my passion and all my knowledge at your service through ‘Mon reflet dans l’assiette’.

How does my support work?

I welcome you in my kitchen or connect with you by videoconference for non-therapeutic appointments where I teach you how to stay greedy while preserving your shape and health.

With the utmost availability, attentiveness and kindness, I pass on to you, in a pragmatic, practical and lasting way, a fundamental knowledge of nutrition based on balance and quality, as well as simple culinary methods.

The first consultation lasts around 2h30 to get to know you, to let you express your needs and questions, and to establish an assessment and the nutritional paths to follow.
At the end of this consultation, you will already be able to go your own way on your nutritional journey. However, if you wish to go further, we will define together the modalities of my accompaniment and set up follow-up sessions that can include individual or group culinary workshops, outside visits, or other...

Possible one-hour sessions without assessment

At each session, you'll leave with a precise roadmap for following your intentions, achieving your goals and staying motivated on your nutritional journey.

The sessions are non-therapeutic, but health comes from the plate. You'll be able to easily measure the benefits of a healthy, balanced diet based on a discipline in which gourmandise is the key word.

My cooking classes

My culinary workshops are aimed at both individuals (solo, with family or friends) and companies (team building).

The said workshops take place at the House on request or on specific dates throughout the year (except June, July and August for workshops ‘Un Dimanche à la Maison’ et ‘Le samedi en cuisine’).

During these classes (2 to 6 people - duration approx. 6 hours), we discuss the development of a balanced, healthy and gourmet menu, essentially composed of the finest organic and local produce, prepare it together and enjoy it in a convivial atmosphere, in the spirit of the House’s guest table. After the meal, I can show you around the House and garden.

You can also, on request and/or as part of your nutritional advice and follow-up, benefit from personalized individual cooking class. An opportunity to bring the practical side to your specific needs
